What is the benefit to patients and families?
This allows you to feel, not only secure with your nurse’s knowledge and training, but also the warmth in their conveyance of care leading to a provider or companion that you can truly rely on. With this philosophy, at NeoHealth, we look to break down the barriers that exist with other healthcare providers in outdated healthcare settings and we look forward to a brighter future with nurse-led care at NeoHealth Our goal is simple – to make sure that everyone we care for is safe and happy and that our team of nurses are trained and continuously supported to do their job to the best of their ability. It is a privilege to be able to work with amazing, selfless nurses and to meet wonderful clients whose lives we can change, just by caring.
The NeoHealth team see their vocation as a passion, not just a job.Solving problems and making people’s lives easier. In many jobs, it can be difficult to put your finger on the specific difference and impact made. But in healthcare the difference is immediately clear. It’s clear in terms of the practical results we achieve – helping someone get dressed, wash or cook a meal, or seeing an improvement in their mobility or general wellness – but it’s also clear in the effect we have on the people we care for. We get to do the most rewarding job It’s wonderful to know that a patient or family can’t wait to see our nurses. It’s a huge buzz to know that what we do can change someone’s day. We become a part of our client’s lives – a part of their family.
They’ll reminisce with our nurses, and they’ll tell them about what’s happening in their lives. The connection that we can build is truly amazing and is so important, no matter of age, gender or nationality. The small things that mean so much are resonant. To our nurses, it’s a friendly chat whilst they get on with their work. But to our client, very often, that nurse can be a positive connection to the wider world. We can be a shoulder to cry on or a source of advice. These moments can mean the world and that is a great feeling which is difficult to find in any other job. Care is demanding, busy and continuous. It can also be physically challenging and emotionally draining. But at the end of the day, we get to say that we made someone feel valued.
We give them the help and the dignity they deserve. Homecare nursing is very often an undervalued and misunderstood side of healthcare. People understand that nurses work in hospitals, but are not always aware of the fact that there are very often situations whereby people do not necessarily need to be in hospital, but do require clinical or support care which can be provided within the home. That’s where NeoHealth homecare nurses come in. They do an amazing job of becoming a part of a family. They dedicate their lives to helping others within their home. These qualified professionals are intelligent, dedicated nurses who have worked hard to achieve their status but who have chosen to provide homecare so that they are able to concentrate on one patient and really make a difference. Here’s to the new wave of home healthcare!
